Henry was left at the shelter in the overnight drop-box. He also was loaded with fleas. No one claimed him and when his time ran out, we rescued him. Henry is a rather large, big-boned cat tipping the scales at 11 1/2 pounds and is approximately 5 years old. He is a VERY mellow, laid-back cat who is very affectionate and friendly. Henry is doing extremely well with the children at his foster home---he seems to have an infinite supply of patience. Breed-wise he's a bit of puzzle to try and figure out. He is completely tail-less (appears to have been born this way) which hints at the Manx or American Bobtail breeds. His overall size and his huge paws hint at the Maine Coon breed. But his color/coat pattern (chocolate lynx point with aqua colored eyes) hints at the Himalayan breed. But irregardless of what breed label you want to pin on him, Henry could care less. He just wants someone to love him. He is a BIG cuddler and loves to curl up beside you on the couch. Speaking of sofas, he can be a couch-potato at times although he has spurts of energetic play especially with furry mice cat-toys. Come meet this gentle giant yourself on our adoption days every Saturday at the Well Pet Clinic in Lexington Park.
