Moose is an owner give up.  He is a little shy with new people but he really is a character.

I was born in the Raleigh, North Carolina area and recently relocated to Southern Maryland.  Unfortunately, my owner was unable to care for me, so I am hoping that you can help me find my forever home.  I am sweet, affectionate, intelligent, high-spirited, and loyal.  I love playing fetch and enjoy having plenty of stuffed animals to choose from.  I enjoy cuddling and curling up in your lap as much as you would allow.  I show my excitement by jumping really high and giving plenty of kisses.  I can even sit on my hind legs for extended periods while waiting for a treat!  I am still learning verbal commands, but am getting better every day.  I am also being crate-trained since I haven’t had a consistent home life for potty-training.  I grew up with another large breed dog, so I am used to having company; however, I can appreciate being your sole companion because that leaves more attention for me.  My ideal home environment would be somewhere I could stretch my legs and run (fenced in, of course!), but I also enjoy long walks for exercise too.  I would prefer being with one person or an older family, if possible.  I also wouldn’t mind being around older children.  Would you please help me find my way home?
