Melvin was originally trapped in a humane trap in a local neighborhood and was a little hissy spitty kitten.  After being at the shelter for 2 days he started talking to the volunteers and wanting love.  Now he is a little purr box that loves to be held and have his head rubbed.,  He will still get startled if there is a loud noise or some unexpected commotion but usually he is happy to just chill and be loved.
